Snowflake MakeUp Look

First of all, sorry for not pposting yesterday, but I had some issues with my friends's and my new year's eve plans. Today I am going to show you what of my winter makeup looks. I call it the snowflake look, because I don't use any bronzer for it, so my skin is almmost white. It's really simple and can be done in under 10 minutes. Let's get right into it!

0. Wash your face and pat it dry with a towel.
1. Moisturize your skin. This is especially important in winter, just apply a light moistruizing cream of your choice to avoid dryness during the dye. I use Nivea Soft. Let it absorb before you continue.
2. Apply some concealer on under-eye circles and blemishes and if needed add some foundation or BB cream. I normally just use the Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector in the shade light.
3. Add Powder. I can only recommend the Transparent Matte Loose Powder (011) by the polish brand Vipera.
4. Apply blush in a cool, pink-ish color to the apples of your cheeks. Make sure that you don't apply to much and keep it natural. My favourite right now is the Artedeco Blusher 30.
5. For the eyes, first apply some neutral eyeshadow in beige, champagne or light pink or peach to your whole lid, it should not be to shiny though. I use the lightest color in the 01 Peach Lake palette from Kiko.
6. Add just a little bit of the blush you used in step 4 to your crease, optional you can use some light pink or beige (a little bit darker than the first one).
7. Line your upper and lower water line with black or grey eye pencil, but don't make it to harsh. You only want to define your eye a bit. I use eithe Lancome Crayon Kohl Noir or Clarins Crayon Kohl 04 platinum.
8. Line your upper lash line with a gel or liquid eyeliner. I like to use the Professional Eye Liner pen from p2.
9. Put mascara on your upper and lower lashes. My favourite right now is the Maybelline the Colossal Volum' Express Cat Eyes.
10. Fill in your eyebrows with a eyebrow pencil on some matte eyeshadow matching your hair/brow color. For me, it's the Benefit Instant Brow Pencil in light to medium.
11. Last, but not least, use some lipgloss or tinted lipbalm. The color should be rather cool, and again, pink-ish, so it matches your blush. I used the Clinique Chubby Stick in Mighty Mimosa (13).

And this is the finished look - pretty simple, don't you think? If you recreate it (as if ;p) make sure to share it with me via Instagram (@heyitsOla) or Twitter (@xloley).

Christmas Playlist

Once again, when I got back home it was already dark, what meant that I couldn't take photos. So I decided to share my Christnas Playlist with you, as it doesn't require that much work and good lighting. The songs you're about to see/hear I've been listening to everyday since the 1st of December and I can't get enough of them. And just one more thing - some of the CD covers are really hard to find and look ridiculous.

Candle Collection

I am very tired tonight, so I couldn't bring myself to make this a "solid" post, but I still think it is a nice, small feature. Since summer this year, I've bought quite a few candles at Bath&BodyWorks. None of them is exactly "christmas-scented" (besides the smallest one), but I think candles are generally quite wintry. Let me just quickly go through them, before I fall asleep. :)

Tuscan Herbs - this is my biggest candle, as you can see and I really, really like it, it smells so fresh. In fact, I'm burning it right now. / Leaves - This is the ultimate blogger/youtuber candle and it's perfect for fall and winter with it's spicy/cinnamon-y scent. / Heirloom Pear - I bought this fruity-smelling candle last week, I just couldn't stop myself from smelling it again and again in the store. / Lakeside - This is actually the first candle I bought. I can't describe the scent at all, but it really reminds me of summer vacation and lying by the lake in the evening. / Pineapple Mango - another very fruity and sweet scented candle. Mango is my favourite fruit so I just had to get it. / Cotton - The smell of freshly laundered bedding and washing powder is my favourite in the whole world, so this candle is a must for me. / Fresh Balsam - I haven't burnt this one yet, but it smells exactly like fir trees and I can't wait to light it right before christmas eve.

I would highly recommend all of this candles (altough some of them are not being sold right now) and I rate them 11/10.

The Day After Tomorrow

I really don't have anything to say today. Altough I love December and all the preparations for christmas, this year they are getting quite stressfull, because I don't have any presents yet and I kind of spend all my money. I don't have any plans for new year's eve either, which is weird for this time of the month - there ale only 20 days left. As my organisation skills aren't the best, my life is quite chaotic right now, which is very bad, because there is a lot to do until the 24th of December. Not only do I have to buy all the thei gifts, but also decorate the christmas tree (and I'm sick of the golden baubles we've had for the past few years), clean my room for the holidays and keep up with all my uni assigments. The next two weeks are going to be very stressfull.

Christmas Wishlist

christmas wishlist
christmas wishlist by heybebz featuring christmas holiday decor

It is the 9th of December today which means Christmas is right around the corner and I couldn't be more excited. I have already decorated my room a little bit, I created my Christmas playlist and I wore my Christmas jumper. As you can probably tell - I feel veeery festive. Christmas is probably my favourite time of the year (next to vacation) and the snow which fell yesterday made me feel even more christmassy. Anyway, presents are a big part of Christmas. I created this wishlist on polyvore for my parents to have an idea of what I'd like to get this year. Originally it contained around five things, but as I found out that more family is comming I started adding a few smaller bits. Let me just quickly go through them. You can also click on the link under the picture to go to polyvore to get a closer look at the things and even buy them, if you would like.

Teenage Runaway Sweatshirt / Michael Kors Bag (I obviously don't want all three bags, I just couldn't decide. I actually know which I will be getting) / Gossip Girl Season 4 DVD / Phone Case / Triangl Swimsuit / OPI Nailpolish / COMME des FUCKDOWN* Beanie / Zara Skort / Midnight Memories / Customized Nike Air Max / Watch / Fossil Bracelet / Sephora giftcard and/or makeup

Obviously I don't expect to get everything, probably just a few things. It is really fun to make lists like this, though, sane as shopping for christmas presents for my friends and family. I love giving presents and seeing them happy.

Blogmas

Hello everyone. This is not going to be a long post, I just want to share with you what I'm going to be posting the next couple of weeks (2 1/2 to be exact). Anyway, I don't know if something like this already exists (besides vlogmas, obvously), but I came up with this blogmas thing. It is kind of an alternative to vlogmas. Anyway, what I decided to do is, I am going to be posting everyday starting tomorrow (6th December) until Christmas Eve/Christmas Day. I also thought about vlogging my weekends, as I don't do anything exciting during the week. It's friday tomorrow and I'm going to try to film a bit, same on saturday and maybe sunday. If I succed I am going to edit the clips into a little video which I'll put online probably on Sunday. On the days I vlog I am not going to make new posts though. So that would be everything. I hope I'll be able to do what I explained here, because I often come up with ideas but I'm to lazy to do anything. Wish me luck!
